Project 1 - Truss Design
In this project, students were to construct a truss design using fettuccine and analyse the load that the truss produced can withstand. After that, an actual load detremination was conducted by placing a pile on the truss, water were added into the pile until the failure of the truss. This was to identify the efficientcy of the truss designed. Furthermore, there are case studies in the project brief that students have to choose 1 of them and conduct a calculation in the case study truss.

I have learnt how to identify the load that different truss deisgns can design by using calculations and formulas in this project. I was very weak in mathematics and physics but throught this project, I got a lot of help from lecturer and my groupmates regarding the calculation and also during the truss design which I do gain alot in this project.
