Description
The name of the retreat house is Healing Garden, it's for my previous bird watching tower client, a psychotherapist. The concept is circulation, because a psychotherapist has to has a clear circulation of mind so that they can handle spontaneous expressions by their patients and have to keep both personal feelings and working experiences separated so that they can have a non-bias point of views and successful guide their patients through their hardships. The natural environment around is like a garden to the retreat house, the colour green resembles growth, renewal and refreshness, which are the goal of a therapist to their patients. The design of the retreat house include the principles of circulation of sound, circulation of views, circulation of air, circulation of spaces and circulation of people.
Reflective
The presentation boards were not really satisfying because the information were not as whole and there were some mistakes in the orthographic drawings too. I spent days for this pesentation but when I present on the day, the judges were not paying any attentions and start chatting with their other colleages that responsible in other section which I only started on the site analysis. I was not sure about whether that my presentation was too boring and cannot attract the judges' attention, but aI get the comment that I should improve on the board drawings and to include interior perpectives so that they can experience the space. I learned that should constantly be confident throughout the presentation, and also should improve my presentation skill. Other than the request for improvements of the drawings in the presentation boards, the judges didn't suggest any better solution that would let me truly learned and improve in my future projects.
