Project 2 - Case Study Paper

 

In this project, students are to conduct a site visit to public buildings, such as shopping malls, institutes, warehouses and other building that with minimum 5 storeys to research about the mechanical transportation, ventilation, air conditioning and fire protection systems in the building.

The building that allow us to conduct a site visit is Leisure Mall in Cheras. 

 

Reflective

There were alot of difficulties and obstacles when we applied for the site visit to the buildings, most of the buildings rejected us because of their privacy and confidential issues, so we got alot of rejection before we successfully applied for site visit to Leisure Mall. Here I would like to thank Mr Shaik Mahmood, the Building Service Manager of Leisure Mall by approving our request in such short notice since our submission is in a week, and nevertheless, Mr Lau, which is the supervisor that guide us around the building and patiently answer our curiosities and provided us a lot of building services knowledges. We really appreciate the people that guide us in this projetc, especially Mr Rizal, our tutor to gave ua suggestion and reminders for us to successfully completed this project.
