The concept of my design is 'Embrace' which inspired by the circulation of the wind and surrounding trees within the site, which us human feel like being engulfted by the nature, a feeling of being protected. Inspired by the circulation of the wind, the form of my design appears to be swirling and it's like the building is protecting a something at the center of the surrounded building, which was further determine in the final design. Furthermore, the building is oriented to be facing towards the South-West side which is facing the highway, not only to let the drivers and passesgers to have the first glance of the building, to guide them to visit the centre, but also it is where most of the openings are placed, to let the penetration of the prevailing South-West wind.

Reflective

This interim allow me to be aware of the spaces arrangement and to be specific with the activities of the special spaces, such as the children explorative area and the centre of the building which the design is surrounding to make the design to be more relevant to the concept 'Embrace'.
